As part of Food Industry Foresight’s continuous improvement ethos, we have undertaken a major review of Australian Foodservice to further enhance the value of this service to you and your company.
The principal change lies in the primary data collection for the market size modelling.
Over the past eight years, annual data collection has taken place in a single time period. Starting in February this year, we are now collecting food and beverage volume purchase data by operators on a monthly basis relating to the recent past.
By undertaking the survey monthly with increased total sample sizes, and accumulating the data in
order to provide moving annual totals, we will be able to:
• Provide more accurate market size data
• Identify market volume movements earlier
• Understand seasonal patterns on a quarterly basis.
