Foodservice Robotics is taking a big step forward with a major new project planning to deploy over 4,000 robot kitchens across universities around Beijing

Hamburg based Circus Group have started large scale production to fill orders for over 5,000 units of its new CA-1 Robot Kitchen. That’s over 1 Billion Euros worth of robots from one company!

Circus SE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with Beijing University Food Raw Material Joint Procurement Center for the potential supply of 5,400 Circus Autonomy One (CA-1), Circus Group’s self-developed food production robot. 

The CA-1 Robot can dispense ingredients  cook, clean, cool, and pack. It is an  autonomous kitchen robot that automates 80% of all tasks for a new level of precision, and efficiency.

Market segments being targeted include Aged Care, Hospitals and anywhere with large meal volumes.

Rod is a senior executive with an international career having lived and worked in Australia, Norway, Sweden, Malaysia and the UK. He has a 40 year career in management, marketing, sales, and project management in several industries including banking, IT, printing, manufacturing and services.
